Violinist Yuri Kye enjoys a dynamic career as a genre-bending soloist, orchestral and chamber musician, recording artist, and entertainer and has performed extensively across North America and Europe. Recent highlights include the US premier of Grazyna Bacewicz’s first violin concerto with the Women’s Community Orchestra, and the 2025 North American tour with the Icelandic band Sigur Ros. Additional tour credits include Halsey, Kygo, Michael Bublé, Tony, Toni, Tone!, Deltron 3030, the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and Andrea Bocelli, and being featured as the solo violinist and fiddler of the multi-Tony-award-winning 2019 adaptation of “A Christmas Carol on Broadway” on its first North American tour in 2021. Additionally she has recently performed in concerts of “Death Stranding” and “Stardew Valley” tours, and the Pokemon World Championships.

Yuri frequently performs with several professional orchestras in the Northern California region, most often with Monterey Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, Oakland Symphony, and San Jose Chamber Orchestra. She previously performed as concertmaster with the Merced Symphony, Berkeley Community Chorus & Orchestra, and Soli Deo Gloria, and has appeared as guest principal with various groups including Santa Cruz Symphony, West Edge Opera, and Livermore Valley Opera. Previously, she was a member for seven seasons with the acclaimed Sarasota Opera, in Sarasota, Florida, where she performed in a principal position for one season.

Yuri has been featured on PeacockTV’s “Paris in Love”, and was selected to perform casket-side for the late Senator Dianne Feinstein at San Francisco City Hall at her public memorial, and can be heard regularly in highly publicized events, having appeared at Candlelight Concerts by Fever, HardTech Live, TedTalk, festivals including Outside Lands, Hardly Stricly, Bottlerock, San Francisco Bicentennial Celebration, and Super Bowl 50.
